Janet Marie Makolin (06/17/1933-05/17/2016), passed away peacefully with her family by her side. Janet was
born in Copper City to Richard and Lillian Finnila-Larson, with her brother Wesley.
She was happily married to Earl Makolin until his passing in 2006.
They had 2 sons, Richard who passed away in 2009 and Martin.
Her greatest joy was her family & friends and vacationing in the U.P.
She is survived by her son Marty(Lani),
Ypsilanti MI, grand-daughter Jessica(Cheryl) San Francisco CA/Ann Arbor MI, numerous nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.
We want to express our sincere appreciation and gratitude to our families and friends for their unconditional love & support in the past 10 yrs caring for Janet.

Friends may call at the Erickson Crowley Peterson Funeral Home in Calumet on Friday May 20, 2016 from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm, and from 10:00 am to 11:00 am on Saturday May 21, 2016 at Faith Lutheran Church in Calumet.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday May 21, 2016 at Faith Lutheran Church in Calumet with Reverend Peter Gundersen to officiate.
Burial will be at the Lake View Cemetery.
