Rose Marie Maki, 80, passed away at Our Lady of Mercy on July 20, 2014 where she was a resident since May 30, 2014, with her loving family surrounding her as she went to be with the Lord.
Rose was born on March 16, 1934 to Joseph and Eva (Roberts) Peltier in Copper City, Michigan.
Rose attended the Catholic School in Lake Linden and was confirmed by the Bishop at Sacred Heart Church.
On October 5, 1963 she married Roy C. Maki.
Rose was a lifelong homemaker and put her heart and soul into providing for her family, which included an unending supply of love. Her love was unconditional and her children are a testament to this love. Rose took great comfort in praying the Rosary and loved our Lord and Savior with all her heart.
Rose is preceded in death by: her parents, Joseph and Eva Peltier; Husband, Roy C. Maki; Brothers Gregory, Donald, David, and Jerome; Sisters Delores Hukki, Theresa Syers, and Evelyn Rice.

Friends may call at the Erickson Crowley Peterson Funeral Home in Calumet from 10:00 am – 11:00 am on Wednesday July 23, 2014. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday July 23, 2014 at the Erickson Crowley Peterson Funeral Home in Calumet with Father Abraham Mupparathara to officiate.
